Tendulkar, Ganguly hit tons for India

Sachin Tendulkar hit his 36th Test century and Sourav Ganguly also reached a hundred as India moved on to 384-6 on a rain-hit second day of the first Test against Bangladesh on Saturday.

Just 20 overs were possible on the second day, India having resumed on 295-3.

Mahendra Singh Dhoni (36) and Anil Kumble (1) were not out at stumps.

Ganguly and Tendulkar added 189 for the fourth wicket before the former India captain was dismissed for 100, caught at short mid off by Mohammad Rafique off Mashrafe Mortaza.

Tendulkar (101) was next man out, caught in the covers by Mohammad Ashraful to hand Shahadat Hossain his second wicket. — Reuters
