A trial date will be set at the next appearance of Glenn Agliotti in connection with the murder of Brett Kebble, the National Prosecuting Authority (NPA) said on Wednesday.
Agliotti appeared briefly in the Johannesburg Regional Court on Wednesday, said NPA spokesperson Tlali Tlali.
He will appear again on October 27 when a high court trial date will be set. At previous court appearances, prosecutors said efforts to extradite John Stratton, a director of Kebble’s company JCI, from Australia were under way.
Last year, head prosecutor advocate Gerrie Nel told the court that Stratton was a ”role player … Agliotti will not be the only accused”.
