Building and construction materials producer Pretoria Portland Cement (PPC) on Thursday advised that the Competition Commission had conducted a search-and-seizure operation at the premises of the major cement manufacturers.
The operation, carried out on Wednesday, relates to a broad investigation into the cement industry.
‘Whilst reserving its rights, PPC is cooperating with the commission,” the company said in a statement to the JSE. — I-Net Bridge
