Enigmatic electronic music icon Felix Laband puts in a rare live performance at this week’s NONONO!!! party at Durban’s uber-stylish nightclub The Origin to showcase his highly anticipated new album Deaf Safari.
NONONO!!! events are renowned for the high calibre of composers, performers and DJs from the alternative electronic music firmament they assemble for the bill. Laband has spent the past few years mining a rich seam of groundbreaking sonic sorcery and now the man who brought South Africa such ear-shattering tracks as Donkey Rattle performs live for the first time in over 4 years. Joining him on the bill is pioneering indie DJ and avant-garde performance artist Helge, who on this occasion celebrates his 30th year in music. Fleshing out the formidable line-up is the full complement of NONONO!!! DJs including Leo, Hedmekanik, MixinVixin, Meanboy, Budhu, Yatin Udit, NovaK, Mugwad and Yoloist.
