The enterprise development unit (EDU) at the Durban University of Technology launched the Invo Tech Innovation Incubator on Tuesday this week with the Small Enterprise Development Agency.
Invo Tech will “convert innovations and new technologies into sustainable and commercially viable businesses”, the university announced.
Said EDU head Colin Thakur: “The centre will focus on the commercialisation of patents, technology transfers, innovation and prototype development and InvoTech will attempt to find funding and markets for approved projects.”
