? Just for You is the title of a drama that debuts this week and adds a distinctive note to the Playhouse Company’s festive season line-up of live entertainment. Written and directed by Thami Sikhosana, Just for You is the story of some of those who left their homes and loved ones to migrate to the city.

The drama depicts their struggles to survive the tough urban living conditions and the toll this takes on them. But, despite adversity, the human spirit endures and suffering brings reward in the form of a final, life-changing stroke of good luck. It also shows how friendship triumphs through good and bad times. The cast includes S’busiso Shozi, San-dile Menze, Ndumiso Dlamini, Boy Ngema, Samukelisiwe Hlophe and director Sikhosana himself. The live musical backing is by Mduduzi Mahlobo on guitar, Elisa Sdumo Ngidi on bass, Sthembiso Ntuli on saxophone, Lucky Thango on drums, Eric Duma on trumpet and Lindelani Mathonsi on keyboards.
