What’s better than Hollywood heartthrob Ryan Gosling? A feminist Ryan Gosling, that’s what. The meme features the actor in a series of photographs with quotes to melt the feminine heart. Twin it with a feminist message, as the latest iteration of the meme has done and — voilà — you have a viral sensation on your hands.

Here in South Africa we’re decidedly short on Ryan Goslings. What we do have, is a president who is just as passionate about women — if his series of marriages is anything to go by.

Jacob Zuma is due to marry a fourth wife on Saturday, his sixth marriage overall.

He may be 70 and tasked with running our country but Msholozi still has plenty of time for the fairer sex. Herewith, “Hey girls” brought to you by our polygamous president.
