Video: ‘Cable thieves’ brutally assaulted by guards

The Mail & Guardian's amaBhungane has obtained a video clip, which shows two suspected cable thieves – bloodied and cowering in a doorway – being kicked and taunted while security guards look on.

It is believed the incident took place at the controversial Blyvooruitzicht Gold Mine (Blyvoor), near Carletonville, western Gauteng.
