Shell South Africa’s Diversity and Inclusivity (D&I) policy clearly recognises the importance of an inclusive work environment for all employees. It is with this notion in mind that we wish to tell our narrative of women empowerment in Shell South Africa, particularly during the month of women. We believe that our strong identity is anchored by all the voices and minds of all our people across the gender spectrum. Embedding D&I within our structure, people, processes and culture results in more customers, employees, partners and other stakeholders choosing Shell more often. Research demonstrates that a diversity of informed views enable alternatives to be explored more efficiently and solutions to emerge more readily.
