Langa music school project goes global
A music magazine team from London is cycling to Amsterdam in just four days to raise funds to build a music school in Langa, Cape Town.
The creation of the music school in Langa is one of many projects run by Bridges For Music – a non-profit organisation that gets key players in the music industry to support responsible development in developing countries. The organisation aims to have a positive impact in disadvantaged communities and helps raise global awareness about local issues through music.
Resident Advisor is a London-based online electronic music magazine which aims to raise 100 000 pounds for the Langa project with a 482km charity cycle challenge over four days, from London to the Amsterdam Dance Event.
