Relief agency Médécins sans Frontières (MSF) on Wednesday said it was abandoning its work in Afghanistan after 24 years following the ”unprecedented” murder of five of its workers last month. The MSF workers, who had been in a clearly marked vehicle, were shot dead in the north-western province of Badghis on June 2.
