Procter & Gamble is buying razor and battery maker Gillette for about -billion in a stock deal that would create the world’s largest stable of consumer products, the companies announced on Friday. The companies said they expect to save billion to -billion in annual costs, and cut about 6 000 jobs as part of the integration.
