Doctor Khumalo charged with reckless driving

Former Kaizer Chiefs midfielder Doctor Khumalo was admitted to hospital after he was involved in an accident on the N1 in Johannesburg on Sunday, Kaizer Chiefs confirmed. The accident, involving a black BMW — driven by Khumalo — and a minibus taxi, occurred on the N1 between Maraisburg and Soweto at about 5am,

Metro cop says Mandoza didn’t smell of alcohol

Johannesburg Metro police said on Tuesday they had not tested Kwaito star Mandoza for driving under the influence of alcohol after an accident on Saturday because he was being treated at the scene by paramedics. Two people were killed when Mandoza smashed into the back of their car.

Two dead, Mandoza out of hospital after crash

Kwaito star Mandoza is recovering at home following a car accident in the early hours of Saturday morning. Two people died and Mduduzi Tshabalala [Mandoza] was hospitalised after he crashed his DaimlerChrysler Crossfire into a VW Jetta along the N1 near the 14th Avenue offramp at about 1.23am.

How to fool the speed cameras (so they say)

It sounds too good to be true. Purchase a can of PhotoBlocker, liberally spray your car’s number plate and forget about ever receiving a speeding fine again. The manufacturers of the spray claim that with just one application, a number plate will be rendered as a bright rectangle in speed-camera photographs.
