Omar al-Bashir on Monday said he accepted a South Sudan vote for independence in a referendum that is set to create Africa’s newest state.
Sudan President Omar Hassan al-Bashir on Tuesday pledged support for a new southern state as it voted overwhelmingly to split from the north.
Sudan’s President Omar al-Bashir, the only sitting head of state wanted for war crimes, will be sworn in on Thursday.
