Australian Test rugby star Quade Cooper is to fight his burglary charge, his lawyer said on Friday, as the case was adjourned for seven months.
The IRB has fined the Springboks for bringing the game into disrepute with their ‘armband’ protest during the recent British and Irish Lions tour.
South Africa are still in the race to host the Rugby World Cup in either 2015 or 2019 despite failing to win the support of the organising committee.

A joyous Argentinian side swept aside host nation France at the Parc des Princes 24 hours before South Africa finally quenched the English flame and put the light out on that team’s four-year reign as champions.
