Martin Nodell, the creator of Green Lantern, the comic-book superhero who uses his magical ring to help him fight crime, has died. He was 91. Nodell died at his home in Muskego, Wisconsin, on December 9 of natural causes, his son Spencer Nodell said on Tuesday. He previously lived in West Palm Beach.

One of three teenagers charged with trying to rob illusionist David Copperfield and two assistants as they left a performance has pleaded guilty. The assistants handed over money and a cellphone, but the illusionist turned his pockets inside out to reveal nothing, although he was carrying his passport, wallet and cellphone.
Illusionist David Copperfield has magically escaped getting robbed. After his show at a West Palm Beach performing arts centre on Sunday, Copperfield was walking with two female assistants back to their tour bus when four teenagers pulled up in a black car and demanded the group’s belongings, according to police.
