Winner of the prestigious Naledi Award for Best Comedy Performance, Monkey Nuts is the acclaimed creation of writer/director Geraldine Naidoo who brought into life the similarly lauded Hoot and The Chilli Boy.
Monkey Nuts is a clever mix of situational comedy, storytelling and memorable characters which tells the story of Edgar Chambers, a curious character obsessed with entering every kind of competition and promotion he can sniff out. Monkey Nuts in a one-hander performed by multi award-winning actor Matthew Ribnick.
Elizabeth Sneddon Theatre, UKZN, May 5 to 15 May. Shows take place on Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights at 8pm and on Sundays at 6pm. Tickets are R120 and R60 for the Thursday and Sunday shows with abooking through Computicket.
