SA academy leads NZ on final day

MONDAY, 1.30PM:

SOUTH AFRICAN Cricket Academy are leading New Zealand by 152 runs with eight second-innings wickets standing, after three days’ play in the four-day match at Chatsworth in Durban on Sunday.

Tidy bowling by Nicky Boje – 3/62 in 32 overs – and Anthony Botha – 3/22 in nine overs – restricted New Zealand. Mark Bruyns and Doug Gain batted 52 not out and 31 not out respectivley after two wickets had fallen.

New Zealand’s Craig McMillan continued with his fine form and scored 63 and Daniel Vettori scored 32.
