A TEN-man Bush Bucks held Orlando Pirates to a goalless draw at Umtata Stadium on Wednesday afternoon. Bucks lost striker Vincent Skhosana in the 41st minute when referee gave him an early shower after two bookable offences.
Bucks goalkeeper Mark Andreson had a good game and frustrated the visitors with his acrobatic saves.
Mamelodi Sundowns and Cape Town Spurs played to a 1-1 draw in Cape Town. In the 51st minute Spurs Ian Gorowa passed the ball to David Modise who did not hesitate to put it behind the net. Sundowns were awarded a penalty in the 75th minute when Sello Page Mahlangu was pushed by a Spurs player and Raphael Chukwu converted the penalty when he sent young Moneeb Josephs the wrong way.
Kaizer Chiefs and Manning Rangers drew their Premier Soccer League match 1-1 in front of an estimated 40 000 Amakhosi supporters at Ellis Park Stadium on Wednesday night.
Chiefs, who missed a lot of chances, opened the score in the 40th minute when Mark Williams tapped in a Thabang Lebese cross. Two minutes later Rangers equalised through Simon Makhubela who headed home an Innocent Chikoya free kick.
In the 26th minute Daniel Sekhoto missed a seater when he received a perfect pass from Robson Muchichwa, beat the off side trap but froze in front of Rangers goalkeeper Grant Johnson.
