Pakistan fold in Kimberley

TUESDAY, 11.30AM:

THE Pakistani touring cricket side suffered a batting collapse on Monday, but are still in sight of victory going into the fourth day of their match against Griqualand West in Kimberley.

The tourists, who took a 200-run lead into the second innings, lost it completely in mid-afternoon, slumping to 152/8.

When Griquas came out to bat for a second time, Waqar Younis bowled with great urgency, accounting for two wickets, those of Mickey Arthur (0) and Loots Bosman (5). Fellow quickbowler Mohammed Akram picked up the wicket of Pieter Barnard (1), caught at slip.

Griquas continue their innings on 9 for three, pursuing 417 for victory.
