PREMIER Soccer League stalwarts Kaizer Chiefs and Orlando Pirates have between them placed seven players on their transfer lists.
Pirates stunned SA soccer on Wednesday with the announcement that defender and vice-captain Gavin “Stability” Lane does not feature in the future plans of coach Viktor Bondarenko.
Lane was dropped from the team that played Cape Town Spurs last Saturday, upsetting him. On Wednesday, Pirates GM Lawrence Ngubane confirmed the club has reached an agreement with Lane for his move to another club.
Meanwhile, Chiefs surprised soccer fans on Wednesday with the announcement that six players are up for transfer: striker Marc Batchelor, Zimbabwean striker Liberty Masunda, Daniel Sekhoto, Frank Makua, Bradley Carnell, and Thabang Lebese. In addition, Frank Makua is reported to be training with a Pretoria club at present.
