THE Independent Electoral Commission said on Wednesday that more than half of the country’s potential voters have registered. The IEC said after completing tallying the figures from last weekend’s registration drive that 13500074, or 50,07% of the country’s 26960217 potential voters had registered by the end of last weekend. Mpumalanga has registered the greatest proportion of voters with 56,46%, and the Western Cape the lowest, with 38,86%.
