TWO international models were raped while sitting in their car on a road traversing Cape Town’s Table Mountain in the small hours of Wednesday morning, South African police said on Wednesday. A police spokesperson said the models, a 24-year-old from New Zealand and a 26-year-old Canadian woman, were watching the lights of Cape Town around 2.00am when surprised by an armed man. Police said he forced his way into the car, where he raped both women. A representative of the Canadian High Commission visited the police station where the women, in Cape Town for an assignment, reported the attack.
