ELECTIONS will go ahead, regardless of how many people register to vote, newly appointed Independent Electoral Commission chairwoman Brigalia Bam said on Saturday. Bam said that although the IEC is aiming to register 70% of the country’s 25 million eligible voters, the elections will not be postponed if the target is not reached. About 56,1% of voters have registered so far.
