A SENIOR Mozambican Muslim leader has been arrested in Maputo for alleged involvement in trading human body parts, police said on Friday. A police spokesperson said Maulana Mahomed Chafique was arrested this week as he was due to receive a human head he allegedly ordered from two young men. The men were apprehended with the head, which had the ears, nose and eyes removed, the police said. The two told the police that Chafique had asked them for a human head at a price of about $9000 and that they had murdered a friend for his head.
