LEON CLAIMS HOUNDING BY E.TV

THE Democratic Party said on Sunday that it will take action against an e-tv journalist who reportedly harassed DP leader Tony Leon on Sunday afternoon. The DP said that the reporter, an American named Andrew Johnson, demanded Leon comment about the death sentence his father handed down to Andrew Zondo. Justice Raymon Leon sentenced African National Congress member Zondo to death for the 1985 bombing of the Sanlam Centre in Amanzimtoti in which five people died and over 40 were injured. DP spokesman Douglas Gibson said the party plans to contact e-tv CEO Jonathan Procter on Monday.
