VIOLENCE MARS CAF CUP TIE

ETOILE du Sahel of Tunisia drew 2-2 with Express of Uganda in the CAF Cup second round first leg match played on Saturday. Etoile took the lead in the 12th minute through El-Mamani Ridha and added a second through El-Bargui Hakim in the 15th minute, before Express pulled one back in the 30th minute through Maurice Sunguti for a 2-1 at half-time. Express levelled the score through Mohamed Byansi in the 65th minute. Police had to intervene at the end of the match and threw teargas and fired in the air to disperse fans angry at what they saw as biased officiating by the Egyptian referee.
