ANDRIES Rabalao continues his build up for the Avis marathon in two weeks time with a convincing win in the Steers half marathon in Krugersdorp on Sunday in 67:34. He, Israel Moneng and James Mokoele dictated the pace up front for most of the race but with 2km to go the burly Gold Fields security guard moved away to finish with a 45 second margin over Moneng and a further 77 seconds ahead of Mokoele. Evelyn Nel was the sole star at the head of the womens half marathon field, winning easily in 85:19 ahead of Sarah-Jane Nkala and Stompie Monke. Walter Nkosi won the marathon in 2:28:56, way ahead of Rhufel Ndlovu and Andries Moleme.
