BOMB BLASTS AT ID OFFICE

A BOMB blast at the Tribal Authority building in Manthe village in the North-West province brought the issuing of identity documents by Home Affairs officials to a standstill on Wednesday. The provincial government said on Thursday that the 11 explosive devices damaged the building, shattering a window and ripping pieces of plaster off the back wall of the building. No-one was injured. Police on Wednesday said the blasts might have been the result of local feuding in the area.
