FOUR FROM SA IN SWISS RIVER ACCIDENT

TWO South Africans have been found alive while two are still missing following the Swiss canyon disaster. The South African Foreign Affairs department says its embassy in Geneva is in touch with the Swiss authorities abuout the identitities of those involved. Canyoning is an extreme sport which involves climbing down gorges, and body surfing down mountain rapids and waterfalls without a raft. The accident was discovered on Tuesday evening by a jogger who saw bodies floating into Lake Brienz, near Interlaken. Reports say the victims include holidaymakers from South Africa, Australia, New Zealand, Britain and the United States.
