FORMER Springbok Gert Smal has accepted a coaching contract with Western Province for 2000 and 2001, Border Rugby CEO Hannes Pretorius said on Tuesday. Smal who took Border through one of their best seasons in recent years, “…will not be renewing his contract with Border at the end of October,” Pretorius said in a statement. “His successor will be named shortly.”
