COMMERCIAL CRIME COURTS ALL SET

THREE permanent courts geared to deal exclusively with commercial crime will start operating in Pretoria on November 1, the Business Day reports. One of the courts will be a high court hearing large commercial crime cases, the office of national prosecutions said on Monday. It said court rolls are already being sifted to identify cases for referral to the three courts. A total of 25456 cases involving R226-billion were reported last year in Gauteng alone.
