‘MY HOUSE IS NOT FOR GADAFFI’

THE office of former president Nelson Mandela on Wednesday issued a statement denying that Mandela has purchased a house in Cape Town on behalf of Libyan President Moammar Gadaffi. The statement denied that a Libyan delegation had met Mandela or anyone connected to his family to discuss the purchase of the Cape Town home. It said that the house is for Mandela’s personal use. The Cape Times on Tuesday carried a report by Swedish daily newspaper Express en Avowal that the R4,5-million house in Bishops Court bought by Mandela and his wife Grab&cecil;a Mach el is for Gadaffi.
