PRESIDENT Thabo Mbeki has announced the appointment of three new senior management appointments in the Public Service sector. In a statement on Saturday, Mbeki said Hilton Dennis (41) has been appointed as director-general of the South African Secret Service (SASS), replacing Billy Masetlha (45) who had been redeployed as director-general of the Home Affairs Department. Former director-general of the Labour Department, Sipho Pityana (40) was appointed as director-general of the Department of Foreign Affairs.
