HEIST GANGS HIT TWO

A HEAVILY armed cash-heist gang ambushed an armoured vehicle and made off with R300000 near the Mpumalanga capital of Nelspruit on Tuesday in the second such attack this week. No-one was injured in the attack by five masked men between Nelspruit and White River just before noon on Tuesday, but the armoured van and two other vehicles were riddled by semi-automatic gunfire. The attack follows an almost identical ambush on a Coin Security armoured van travelling through White River from Hoedspruit on the weekend. No-one was injured in that attack but police are declining to say now much money the gang escaped with.
