AJ EYES SHARKS FOR BOKS

AJ VENTER thinks his best chances of playing for the Springboks lie with the Natal Sharks. The form eighthman of last season, who was controversially left out of the World Cup squad in Wales, is in a contractual wrangle while trying to leave the Golden Lions for the Durban outfit. He has not been included in any of the four Super 12 sauds announced on Monday. “The major reason I want to play for Natal is because it’s the best way I can realise my Springbok ambitions. I want most of all to play Test rugby and that more than any money consideration is why I have made my choice of a move from the Lions to Durban.
