STAGGIE INQUEST COMES TO AN END

THE inquest into the death of Cape Town druglord and Hard Livings gang leader Rashaad Staggie has ended. According to Advocate Willie Viljoen of the Investigative Directorate Against Organised Crime the recent arrest of People Against Gangsterism and Drugs co-ordinator Abdus Salaam Ebrahim for the murder of Staggie in effectively put a stop to the inquest. Staggie was set alight and shot daed by Pagad members outside his Salt River home in August 1996.
