REBELS CHARGE SUDAN, IRAQ COLLUSION

THE Sudanese government, which is waging a war against rebels in the south, is working with Iraqi President Saddam Hussein’s regime to produce chemical weapons, the rebel leadership charged on Tuesday. The Sudan People’s Liberation Army (SPLA) denounced ”the close cooperation between the Khartoum and Baghdad regimes in developing Sudan’s military industry, including chemical weapons.” – AFP
