TWO SA COPS KILLED BY SPEEDING CAR

TWO policemen from the Potchefstroom Dog Unit were killed in a hit-and-run accident on Tuesday night, North West police said. Superintendent Louis Jacobs said the two men were returning from work around 8pm when they stopped on the Mooi Bank Road where a couple was involved in an argument. A speeding vehicle hit both of them as they crossed the road. Both policemen died instantly. Their names have not yet been released. – Sapa
