2 NABBED WITH PERLEMOEN AT 3 SISTERS

TWO people were arrested at a roadblock in Three Sisters, Kimberley after they were found in possession of perlemoen (abalone), Northern Cape police reported on Friday. Inspector Chantel Manuel said perlemoen worth R640 000 packed in foam holders and cooler bags was found in the men’s van. The two men were on their way from Cape Town to Johannesburg when they were arrested on Wednesday. They are to appear in court soon. – Sapa
