The matches are scheduled for Katlehong’s Huntersfield Stadium on Wednesday, 13 August and Kanyamazane Stadium in Nelspruit on Saturday, 16 August 2003.
Amaglug-glug go into camp on Tuesday. In the morning players will undergo medical check-ups, after which they will train at FNB Stadium at 3pm. A second training session will be held on the morning of the match.
The Mauritius Senior National Team arrived in South Africa on Tuesday, 05 August 2003 for an extended training camp. They have scheduled several matches with PSL and 1st division clubs to help them polish their skills.
U23 National Team coach, Conti Kubheka, regards these matches as a great opportunity to prepare for the All Africa Games.
”The team that we are taking to the Games includes a few players who have not played regularly for Amaglug-glug. We will make full use of this chance to integrate these players into the U23 philosophy and to fine tune their tactical and technical abilities,” Kubheka said. – Sapa
