Manning Rangers shared points with Orlando Pirates when they drew 1-1 in a Castle Premiership encounter played at Chatsworth Stadium on Wednesday night.
The home side led 1-0 at interval thanks to a goal by Edson Minga in the 30th minute.
Pirates had a number of scoring chances in the first half but they were fluffed by Phumudzo Manedze and James Mothibi.
In 50th minute Pirates introduced Steve Lekoelea for Tyren Arendse who was playing his first game at Bucs.
Five minutes later, Rangers failed to increase the lead when Thabiso Hlalele missed a sitter.
In the 57th minute Gift Leremi converted Lucky Lekgwati’s excellent cross ball to equalise.
Rangers’ point was saved by goalkeeper John Tlale who stopped two thunderous shots fired by Leremi and Lekoelea in the 78th and 82nd minutes respectively. – Sapa
