Still no luck for Rangers

Manning Rangers’ woes continued when they were beaten 1-0 by a 10-man Supersport United in their Castle Premiership encounter played at Chatsworth Stadium on Wednesday night.

There was no score at the interval.

Supersport finished the game a man down following a red card given to Edward Williams after his second bookable offence in the 50th minute — this after fouling Shaheem Bobbs.

The visitors’ goal was netted by Sibusiso Mahlangu, who converted an excellent pass from Dikgang ”The Terminator” Mabalane in the 66th minute.

This was the first game for Rangers since the departure of their technical director, Clive Barker, who joined Santos at the start of the week to replace Mark Byrne. — Sapa
