Debutantes Benoni Premier United shared the spoils with Ajax Cape Town in their match, which was played at the Germiston Stadium. Ajax went into the interval with a one goal lead thanks to the boot of Mfundo Shumana, who slotted home two minutes before the break.
Benoni never gave up taking the fight to Ajax in search of the equaliser.
