The retail price of all grades of petrol will decline by 21c per litre from Wednesday November 1, the Department of Minerals and Energy said on Friday.
The wholesale price of diesel 0,05% sulphur will decline by 2c a litre and that of 0,005% sulphur will fall by 1c a litre (c/l) on the same date.
The wholesale price of illuminating paraffin will fall by 13c/l, while the single maximum national retail price of illuminating paraffin will decline by 17c/l.
The latest changes bring the retail price of a litre of 95 octane unleaded petrol in Gauteng to 597c/l and to 573c/l at the coast.
During the period under review — September 29 to October 26 — the average international product price of petrol, diesel and illuminating paraffin decreased.
