Benoni Premier United held Maritzburg United to a one-all draw in a Castle Premiership match at the Harry Gwala stadium on Friday night.
The visitors have themselves to blame for the draw, having dominated for the better part of the game.
Benoni Premier, or ”The Rabbits”, scored in the 35th minute of the game through Obina Okapo in a goal scramble. The home side scored an equaliser via Enva Wilter in the 55th minute.
The Maritzburg side made three changes in the second stanza when they introduced Collen Zimba, Kabamba Musasa and Luntu Mazana for David Fadlu, Graham King and David Makgale.
This draw didn’t help Maritzburg United, who are still struggling in the relegation zone. – Sapa
