Five men have been arrested in connection with a burglary at Archbishop Desmond Tutu’s Soweto home, Johannesburg police said on Monday morning.

Superintendent Thembi Nkwashu said Tutu’s house in Orlando West was broken into on Sunday morning.

One of the men was apparently found in possession of the stolen goods after midnight on Sunday.

The men were arrested in Orlando East and Dube hostel in Soweto. Police recovered a TV, DVD player, clothing and jewellery.
