The retail price of all grades of petrol will remain unchanged on Wednesday January 2 from a previous increase of 43 cents a litre, the Department of Minerals and Energy announced on Thursday.

The wholesale price of illuminating paraffin will increase by nine cents a litre, while the single maximum national retail price for illuminating paraffin will increase by 12 cents a litre.
