The Pan Africanist Congress of Azania (PAC) will seek to reshape its constitution and organisational structure at its national conference, the party said on Wednesday.
The party will hold its seventh annual national conference at the University of Fort Hare in July.
Conference organiser Mfanelo Skwatsha said the July 4 to 6 conference would propose constitutional amendments in preparation for the 2009 national general elections.
If branch leaders decided to make the conference into a congress, then a new PAC president and national executive council could be elected in time for the national general elections. — Sapa
