Request for Proposal (RFP) Provision of Automated/Online Balanced Scorecard Solution

World Vision International (a child focused, non-profit Christian Relief, Development and Advocacy agency), invites applications from interested vendors for the supply of an automated/online Balanced Scorecard solution to the Southern Africa Regional Office (SARO) for the calendar year 2012. It is anticipated that the successful bidder will be appointed with effect from 1 May 2012.

The Southern Africa Regional Office is based in Johannesburg, South Africa, and provides technical advice and support to nine country offices across the region. As such, it is expected that the agent will have a presence in Johannesburg (or at least Gauteng) to facilitate interaction with the office.

The Balanced Scorecard solution is expected to provide varied operational functionality, including but not limited to:

1. Ease of set up, deployment and use
2. Provision of a Customizable Balanced Scorecard framework, forms, fields, e.t.c
3. Reporting functionality:

    a. Ability to document layout and cosmetic control report formats, ability to generate varied reports and end users being able to create their own reports.
    b. Supported formats for exporting generated reports, analyzing data, exception reporting, and ability to support Web-based authoring.
    c. Graphical reporting dashboard/scorecard capabilities, including the ability of graphical and charts interface in the Balanced Scorecard Solution
    d. Ability to collate and rapidly cascade multiple scorecards through drill-up and drill-down reporting functionalities

In response to the RFP, an electronic proposal must reach World Vision no later than 16:30 on 27 February 2012.
